🕋 Important Tips for New Pilgrims 🤍
If this is your first Umrah, know that the journey is not just travel… but a great spiritual experience that requires preparation, calmness, and organization.
Here are the most important tips before and during Umrah:
🔹 Prepare your documents before traveling
Ensure your passport, visa, travel tickets, hotel reservation, and any required documents are valid before the travel date.
🔹 Learn the rituals of Umrah simply
Before traveling, familiarize yourself with the steps of Umrah: Ihram, Tawaf, Sa'i, and shaving or trimming, so you can perform them comfortably and peacefully.
🔹 Choose comfortable clothing
Umrah requires movement and walking, so make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, especially while moving around the Haram.
🔹 Don't carry too many things
Take only the essentials with you, such as your phone, hotel card, a small amount of cash, a mask or tissues, and a water bottle if possible.
🔹 Remember your hotel location well
Take a picture of the hotel name and location, and keep the contact number of the supervisor or organizing company, so you don’t get lost or delayed.
🔹 Drink water regularly
The crowds and walking can cause fatigue, so make sure to drink water and rest when needed, especially for the elderly.
🔹 Avoid crowds as much as possible
Choose less crowded times for Tawaf and Sa'i if possible, and don’t push others; calmness and gentleness are among the best qualities of a pilgrim.
🔹 Adhere to the Haram's instructions
Follow the guidance of security personnel and organizers inside the Haram, and ensure cleanliness and respect for the comfort of worshippers.
🔹 Keep your intention and heart present
Utilize your time in remembrance, prayer, reading the Quran, and sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, and make your journey an opportunity for a new beginning.
